Ingrid Chabbert wurde 1978 in Aveyron, Frankreich, geboren. Neben ihren zahlreichen Kinderbüchern hat sie auch verschiedene Comics veröffentlicht und wurde 2019 mit dem Harvey Prize für das beste europäische Buch ausgezeichnet.Der spanische Künstler Raul Guridi wurde 1970 in Sevilla, Spanien, geboren und studierte dort an der Akademie der Schönen Künste. Seit 2010 ist er als Illustrator tätig und hat seitdem mehr als dreißig Bücher illustriert.
