Über den Autor Bernal Díaz del Castillo

Bernal Díaz del Castillo, geboren 1498 in Median del Campo, war ein spanischer Autor, Chronist und Soldat. 1519 schloss er sich dem Konquistador Hernán Cortés an und begleitete die spanische Eroberung Mexikos. Bernal Díaz des Castillo starb 1582. Anneliese Botond (1922-2006) studierte und promovierte in Paris. Sie war als Lektorin und Übersetzerin für Französische und Lateinamerikanische Literatur tätig.
