Emma Baxter-Wright studierte Mode an der Saint Martin's School of Art sowie Kunstgeschichte an der Universität Bristol und lehrte anschließend Modejournalismus u.a. an der University of the Arts in London. Sie arbeitete für Magazine wie den New York Observer, die Cosmopolitan und Marie Claire. Neben »Little Book of Chanel« veröffentlichte sie zwei Fotobände über den englischen Modefotografen Brian Duffy sowie »The Little Book of Schiaparelli«. Emma Baxter-Wright lebt in London.
