Über den Autor Masashi Kishimoto

Autor und Zeichner Masashi Kishimoto wurde 1974 in der ländlichen Provinz Okayama geboren. Nachdem er einige Zeit die Kunsthochschule besuchte, gewann er mit seinem Manga "Karakuri" (dt. "Mechanismus") den "Hot Step Award" für neue Mangazeichner. Die erste Version von Naruto (1997) war eine Geschichte über einen Fuchsdämon; die endgültige Fassung erschien 1999 erstmals im Weekly Shonen Jump Magazin und ist mittlerweile der populärste Ninja-Manga auf der ganzen Welt. Neue Werke: Boruto, Samurai8Miyuki Tsuji wurde in Osaka geboren. Nach dem Studium von Slavistik und Kunst in Tokio reiste sie nach Europa und ließ sich schließlich in Hamburg nieder. Sie veröffentlichte Artikel und Bücher in Japan und Deutschland, ihr erstes deutschsprachiges Buch kam 2006 heraus. Seit 2001 übersetzt sie Manga; u.a. die Serie NARUTO. Die Ninja-Fachfrau lebt mit ihrem Mann und ihrer Tochter in Hamburg.
